I graduated as a veterinarian in 2010. Even before graduating, I began collaborating with Merja Dahlbom at Mäntsälä Veterinary Clinic. I have always been very interested in reproductive science, and in 2013, I started my specialization at the University of Helsinki. My mentors have been Prof. Olli Peltoniemi, Merja Dahlbom, and Tuire Tamminen, all of whom have helped me in my specialization. I am currently in the final stages of my specialization, with a diplomate degree in reproductive science (ECAR) and a dissertation on the estrous cycle of female dogs nearing completion.
Almost immediately after graduating, I started working at the Guide Dog School as a responsible veterinarian. I spent about 8 years at the Guide Dog School's clinic and sperm bank until I decided to realize my dream of owning my own clinic. In 2017, I founded the Reprovet clinic.
I am a member of EVSSAR (European Veterinary Society for Small Animal Reproduction).
My family includes my husband Anders, children Casper, Alex, and Ellen, and two dogs.
